Oscars and the Overton Window

The Academy Awards serve primarily to shift the Overton Window, or Window of Discourse, to the left. The winner of the Best Picture award went to a movie that nobody saw. Who would want to see a depressing movie about sex abuse under color of authority?

But the subject matter satisfies the marxist dialectic, where the Catholic Church's claim to moral authority is illegitimate.

Best Picture winners like Spotlight are one reason ratings are down. Another reason is that the biggest movie of all time wasn't even nominated. And still another reason is that everybody knew they were in for a hectoring by Chris Rock about racism, along with the usual sermons about sexism, homophobia, and the environment.

There was a running gag about Suge Knight that went nowhere. If they wanted to make racially-themed jokes, why didn't they trot out some sure-fire O.J. Simpson bits? Better yet, a running gag about Kanye West and how he likes a finger in the butt. They could have mixed in some zingers about Kim Kardashian. The whole Kardashian family is begging to be satirized. They could have mixed in a a few O.J. jokes while they were at it. One big reason O.J. was acquitted was because of Kim's father, Robert. Dead white women? Funny, funny stuff!

But they would have had to avoid the biggest joke of 2015, Caitlyn Jenner. Joking about Caitlyn has moved beyond the Overton Comedy Window. In fact, it would appear the Overton Comedy Window has been reduced to a peephole in a door. That is a needle nearly impossible to thread.

Not that they didn't try. The funniest thing last night was when Stacy Dash lasciviously walked onstage and proclaimed "Happy Black History Month!" Many people in the audience were aware that Dash goes on Fox News and criticizes Black Lives Matter and Black History Month. This crowd didn't know whether it was even permissible to laugh.

Best Actor went to Leonardo DiCaprio. He used his acceptance speech to diatribe about climate change. "Our production needed to move to the southern tip of this planet just to be able to find snow. Climate change is real, it is happening right now. It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species," he said.

If DiCaprio truly believed that climate change was going to destroy "our entire species," then he would be too traumatized to ever again board his private jet to fly to his private island in Belize.

The most truly absurd moment of the show was when Vice President Joe Biden talked about sexual assault. "We must and we can change the culture. So that no abused womam or man, like the survivors you will see tonight, ever feel they ever have to ask themselves 'what did i do?' They did nothing wrong."

By "change the culture," Ol' Joe means let's teach men not to rape. Rape jokes are now totally outside the Overton Window. Unless a woman makes one. And by saying, "they did nothing wrong," Joe means that women possess total agency over their sexuality, unless they experience regret.

The juxtaposition of a segment honoring sexual assault "survivors," with Whoopi Goldberg being a presenter, is just too perfect to ignore. Whoopi and her whole cadre excused Roman Polanski's sodomy of a thirteen-year old girl. Whoopi dishonored her by dismissing it as less than rape. "It wasn't rape-rape," she said.

Honorable mention has to go to Alicia Vikander, who won for Best Supporting Actress. The movie, The Danish Girl, is the story about transgender woman Lili Elbe. Xe/Xir was one of the "first known recipients of gender confirmation surgery." That's what they're going to call it now. Gender Confirmation Surgery.

I remember my Confirmation. It was the moment in my life when I made a mature commitment to Christ, and received strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop. Now the meaning of the word "confirmation" will be to describe genital mutilation. Hacking off a penis or spackling over a twat will be "confirmation" of what in reality is same-sex attraction with opposite-gender fetishization. But homosexual activists want their word, and have colonized the language yet again.

And so the Overton Window for transgender issues expands relentlessly leftward.

Eyeglass World "Robin"

Based on the marketing for Eyeglass World, one could infer that the target demographic for eyeglasses is young women. First there was "Jamie," a blonde who looks a little like actress Jennie Garth. Then there was "Angie," a brunette with straight hair and a pencil skirt, shown browsing on her mobile device while passing time at the airport.

The "Jamie" commercial is practically void of cultural cues. It's a thirty-second story about a young woman who wants stylish frames for low prices. On the other hand, "Angie" deploys cultural markers a little bit more. "Angie" is a confident woman who combines style and business savvy. The camera pans right to reveal her chic mustard handbag.

The latest ad, "Robin," is one long cultural beacon. "Robin" is depicted at her wedding reception.

"Robin got the dress she loved, the flowers she loved, and the cake she loved for a price she really loved. Not surprisingly, Robin shops at Eyeglass World."

It's her wedding day. Did Robin also get the man she loves? Perhaps "tolerates," is a better word, but "Robin got a man she tolerates," doesn't make good ad copy.

Note grimace on the groom's face as he struggles with the champagne cork. He looks like a keeper, "Robin."

The groom looks over for assistance. She can't help you. It's all she can do to not scratch your eyes out.

Note "Robin's" beige dress. Not her first rodeo.

Note his ill-fitting blue suit. Why did she settle for such a loser? She's almost pretty enough to do porn.

Finally he ejaculates, er, gets the cork off the bottle.

"Robin" is deft enough to catch the cork in mid-air. This may be a euphemism for her mastery over her reproduction.

She controls his reproduction, while he happily raises her children from a previous marriage.

Nice catch, "Robin!"

I'll submit an alternate interpretation of the commercial's metaphors. His struggle with the cork represents his failure to maintain an erection while fucking his insufferable harridan of a wife. Maybe he needs beer goggles.

Am I A Liberal?

With election fever gripping the nation, you might be wondering whether you are a liberal, conservative, or moderate. We at Prior Engagements are here to assist you in figuring out where you stand on the issues of the day, with these carefully focus group-tested questions. Let's begin.

Do you support a $15/hour minimum wage?

Do you understand a demand curve? When the price of something goes up, less of it is demanded. If you support a national minimum wage at all, you are economically illiterate.

Do you support Obamacare?

If you answer "yes" to this question, then you believe the government can compel a private citizen to purchase insurance. That makes you a Stalinist. There is nothing about the individual mandate that is compatible with liberty.

Do you believe hate speech is a crime?

If you answer "yes" to this question, then you should know that there is no "hate speech" exception to the First Amendment. The reason we have the First Amendment is to protect speech we don't like. There is no reason to protect speech everybody likes. If you think "hate speech" should be a crime, then no, you are not a liberal. You are a fascist.

Do you believe the top 1% should pay more in taxes?

They already pay half of all income taxes. Still think they should pay more? Then you are a socialist.

Do you think all combat jobs should be open to women?

Women soldiers break down and need replacing twice as often as male soldiers. If they are not injured, pregnant or filing sexual harassment allegations against male soldiers, and are actually capable of firing their weapons, their performance is inferior to men. Women agitate for combat roles because combat soldiers are promoted faster. If you think all combat roles should be open to women, then you are a feminist, and no feminist is liberal. All feminists are either dykes, misandrists, or totalitarians.

Do you believe human activity is responsible for climate change?

If so, then you are a Malthusian environmentalist whack job. You probably believe that there are too many people on the planet, and that the bee population is crashing because Gaia is sad. Michael Crichton said that religion cannot be removed from the human psyche, and environmentalism is a religion. The Judeo-Christian Bible has Eden, and man falling from grace, and so does yours. And your religion has killed more people than any other, considering just the tens of millions killed by malaria because of DDT bans.

Do you support a Constitutional Amendment to overturn Citizen's United?

You probably think that Citizen's United was where the Supreme Court ruled that "corporations are people." The high court actually said that corporations could participate in political speech. Maybe you believed Hillary Clinton when she said she wants to get unaccountable money out of politics. How do you think she's financing her campaign?

Do you favor increased gun control?

Ask yourself whether the Second Amendment protects your family, even if you don't own a firearm. It does, because anyone who would do you harm has to ask themselves if they are going to get shot breaking into your home.

Do you like Bernie Sanders?

Then you are a fucking communist. A socialist is a communist. They all play the same game. Demonize the rich, make you envious of them, just so they can take a little more from them. But that won't cover all their little spending programs. So they appropriate assets. Because private property is an oxymoron. Nobody "gets" to own anything, it all belongs to the people.

Don't worry, though. Everybody is entitled to be wrong when they're young. The imperative of the young is to defy the old. Maybe it'll pass.

#FreeKesha

Browsing the #FreeKesha hashtag on Twitter will tell you everything you need to know about America's victim culture. Kesha wants to get out of her recording contract with Sony. How? By claiming that she is too traumatized to work with the man who raped her, her producer, Dr. Luke.

Seems like everybody believes Kesha(or is it Ke$ha)?

"It’s hard enough for victims of sexual assault and abuse to come forward and tell their stories."

And Ke$ha has just made it that much harder. She was deposed in a 2011 case. She was asked directly, "Did Dr. Luke ever give you a roofie?" She said, "no."

She also denied having an intimate relationship with him.

Which Ke$ha are we supposed to believe? The 2011 Ke$ha, or the 2016 Ke$ha? Feminists always demand that we believe the accuser. What possible benefit would a woman get from making a false accusation?

I would refer you to the woman who has the dollar sign in her name. Dr. Luke offered to have Ke$ha work with another producer, and that was good enough for the judge to side with him.

This should be an interesting case going forward, in any case. It is a classic Marxist dialectic. Ke$ha is the labor being exploited by Sony and Dr. Luke, who represent the capitalist system. The capitalist system must be overthrown to free all the workers, and let them return to their natural state.

Cosmopolitan says that Ke$ha's case is important because in the music industry, "men have near wholesale control over the female pop stars they represent, produce, and, to a disturbing degree, own."

Cosmopolitan is technically correct to assert that Sony owns the means of production, which in this case is Ke$ha herself. The existence of a contract protects both parties. How big would Ke$ha have become without Sony's capital investment? The music she makes is her mode of production, and she owns the copyrights to her music.

Cosmopolitan frames the case in the following way. "This would be as if your manager at work raped you, and when you tried to quit your job and work elsewhere you were told you couldn't because you were still on contract."

Ke$ha has never made a formal criminal accusation against her producer. But to her supporters, it sounds right. They have accepted the indoctrination of their liberal institutions. They have been conditioned to believe that capitalism rapes the environment, that capitalists unjustly own the means of production. Ke$ha represents the mythical noble savage. The allegation of rape drugs being used is believed without reservation. Just as capitalism is a lie, one that requires constant messaging of "The American Dream" and the seductive tools of consumerism to propagate itself, so Ke$ha would never allow herself be ravished without being poisoned.

Ke$ha's producer may or may not have raped her, and at this point I wouldn't believe Ke$ha if she told me the sky was blue. As far as exploited workers go, she's done pretty well, earning north of $40 million. Dr. Luke seems to have a decent cause for his defamation lawsuit against her. I would like to see him take her for every penny she is worth, and have her cast out of Eden.

eBay Is Sexist

The New York Times has published the results of a study on the differences between male and female eBay sellers. But you already know where this is going. One ironclad rule of gender-related studies is that they always demonstrate sexism against women.

The other ironclad rule of gender-related studies is that they must always demonstrate that women are superior in some way or another. For example, a few days ago, a study demonstrated that women produce better computer code than men, but it is perceived as worse if the reviewer knew the coder was a female.

The article notes how the women made "riskier" changes to code, and weren't "playing it safe," yet they "dominated the men in every single coding language, from Java to C++." Knowing this, why would anyone hire a man to write a single line of code, ever?

Anyway, the Times discovered a study that showed that male sellers on eBay have an edge over women.

Female sellers who offered new items received, on average, $0.80 for each dollar that men received. I wonder if their methodology actually yielded 77 cents on the dollar, but that sounded too hackneyed. The sellers reputations were equal, although "women tended to have better reputations as sellers." So they controlled for seller reputations and the women had better reputations?

Tamar Kricheli-Katz, who conducted the study, made the following conclusion about apparent bias. "We actually think that most of it is unconscious." The bias of eBay buyers would have to be, because eBay doesn't require sellers to disclose their gender. eBay vendors have usernames like scuttlebutt3355, and pacificbeach.comber. Determining the gender is pure guesswork.

Maybe female sellers earning $0.80 on the dollar has something to do with how women conduct their auctions. Female sellers received fewer bids for comparable items, 0.88. Perhaps female sellers start their auctions with an unrealistically high price. That would help explain fewer bids and lower selling prices.

Because "unconscious sexism" is not a scientific conclusion.

Building A Bridge To Your Heart

Pope Francis inserted himself into American presidential politics. He was on his way back to the Vatican, after spending a few days in Mexico, and said,

"Aristotle defines a human being as a political animal; at least I am a human being. And a person who only thinks about making walls, wherever it may be, and not building bridges, is not a Christian."

It would be understandable if you wanted to remind the Pope that the Vatican is surrounded by walls. Or, you might wish to ask the Pope if he was aware that Mexican immigration policy is immediate deportation.

Perhaps Jorge Mario Bergoglio was speaking in allegorical language. Surely he is aware that there are walls that keep people in just as there are walls that keep people out. Prisons have walls. Several months ago, he visited a nation that imprisons more than eleven million people. Not the United States.

Cuba.

Cuba's population is held in bondage by the Castro regime. The walls are figurative, yet ninety miles of open ocean is just as formidable as any wall. Did Raul or Fidel Castro earn a rebuke from the pontiff?

Some walls are not even physical, they are virtual. Cuba's citizens are also bound by fear; like any repressive police state, security is maintained through a vast network of informers. Your neighbor could report you to the secret police.

Another example of a virtual prison is the government's systematic control of information. The Great Firewall of China is the government's criminalization of certain online speech, blocked domains and websites, and filtering of keywords out of search strings. Thus, the mind is walled off from unruly thoughts.

Pope Francis was not speaking allegorically. He was speaking literally; he just has very selective criticism. The target of his censure is boilerplate Marxist dialectic: capitalism oppresses the workers.

Funny that a lot of people don't consider Catholics to be Christian, either. One thing about Jesus, he used plenty of allegorical language. He almost always spoke in parables.

And the allusions were usually references to the Kingdom of Heaven. He said, "the barren tree, except it brings forth fruit, will be cut down." This isn't an instruction on proper allocation of agricultural resources.

It's an instruction about how believers must live their lives. Believers must bring forth fruit, or they will be cut down and tossed into the fire.

Has Pope Francis himself built a bridge to the Kingdom of Heaven, or has he built a metaphorical wall?

The Gender Gap

The gender pay disparity has proven to be an enduring fallacy. It's a useful fallacy since it impels female constituents to seek political solutions. And that is certainly easier than taking responsibility for individual decisions.

Women, as an aggregate, earn less than men, as an aggregate. Women work fewer hours, and they choose work that maximizes flexible scheduling. Also, women have to trade their peak fertility for putting shoulder to capitalism's wheel. Starting a family in your twenties will risk the scorn of society for your apostasy from "feminism."

Government is going hammer and tongs to break business to the will of the female voter. Two years ago, President Obama decreed that federal contractors must disclose wages by gender. Last month, the President ordered that even private companies with more than one hundred employees must fill out a form that lists job descriptions, gender, race, and wages.

Jenny Yang, chairwoman of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, said that the information will "inform our investigations." The information could be used to initiate them, too?

Great Britain is getting in on the act now, too. UK companies will soon be required to report to the government their wage disparities. Prime Minister David Cameron has promised to erase the gender pay gap "within a generation."

Why is the gender pay gap only a bad thing when women are earning less on average? Why is there no Manhattan Project to protect male workers who earn less?

Census data from 2008 shows that women in their 20's now earn eight percent more on average than their male counterparts. Are we going to close the pay gap by continuing to treat boyhood as a disorder and pushing men out of educational opportunities?

Feminists aren't interested in equality. They are interested in female supremacy and total control of resources. That is my Unified Theory of Feminism, and I see it confirmed every day.

That's why they don't squawk about all gender pay disparities. If they did, they would demand change in the porn industry. On average, male porn stars earn 30,000 dollars a year, compared to $50,000 a year for female porn stars.

Why is there no Act of Congress to remedy this? The Ron Jeremy Act has a nice ring to it.

When will women wake up to the very real compensation difference between men and women for their genetic material? Women can get paid $5,000 or more for some of their eggs. Men get the shaft and around fifty bucks for their genetic material. Something like the Splooge Equality Act would be a masterstroke of fairness.

The only way we could eliminate the gender gap within a generation would be if society valued a barista exactly the same as a plumber. Come to think of it, The Gender Gap would be an excellent name for a porno studio.

Scratch A Feminist...

...and underneath you will find a fascist. Every single time.

I came across a story this week, about a young woman who was sexually assaulted at San Diego City College. Finally a bona-fide campus sexual assault story! On Tuesday, the young woman was swelling with anticipation for Valentine's Day. Somewhere across town, a young man was experiencing stirrings of passion as well.

They hooked up on Tinder, and arranged to meet "in real life" in front of campus. She got into his car, and he drove to a parking garage and assaulted her, allegedly. He also had a machete sitting on the back seat of his Dodge Charger. The suspect, known as "Benjamin" from his Tinder profile, is apparently still at large.

I say with all sincerity that I feel bad for this girl.

I would just like to ask, why didn't this girl know not to get into a strange boy's car?

Tinder does not scrutinize people for personality disorders. That responsibility is supposed to rest upon the shoulders of the father of the unmarried woman. Ok, so, that element of the patriarchy is outdated. It's more likely than not that she grew up without a male authority figure in her home.

But what about the vast repository of experiential knowledge available to her? The cautionary tales and folk wisdom passed down from aunts and grandmothers? Our elders used to pass down wisdom in this fashion, and women especially benefited from this communitarian system.

Once upon a time, her auntie would have thought to herself, that going alone with the boy in his car was "asking for it." Today, even thinking that way is forbidden. Today, young woman strip down to their underwear and carry signs that read "Still Not Asking For It." They have mistakenly interpreted the meaning of the word "it." "It" can mean misfortune, not just unwanted sexual attention.

The operant conditioning of females currently underway undermines existing communitarian knowledge. This is being done to advance the preferred power structure of today's femininsts, authoritarianism.

Everywhere you look there is confirmation of this. Former Clinton Administration Secretary of State Madeleine Albright is campaigning for Hillary. Albright said that "There is a special place in hell for women who don't help other women." This is equivalent to accusations of witchcraft and sorcery in Puritan America.

Perhaps a bit hyperbolic? Consider that most of the accusations of witchcraft in Salem were from other women. We've passed the point where feminists would ostracize you if you didn't call yourself a "feminist." Now we are at the point where if you are not an intersectional feminist, then you are not a "real feminist."

Sorcery too sketchy a comparison? Certainly, then, lack of adherence to feminist orthodoxy can be considered heresy.

Even disagreeing with a feminist is a criminal offense. Gregory Alan Elliott had to suffer prosecution for mean tweets.

Mansplaining will be a punishable offense.

The Biggest Voter Fraud In History

There was a story yesterday that was greeted with a collective shrug, yet merited great alarm. California Department of Motor Vehicles reported that 605,000 drivers licenses were awarded to illegal immigrants in 2015.

Six hundred and five thousand.

There are an estimated 2.5 million people living in California who entered the country illegally. The argument goes that they are going to be driving anyway, so they might as well be doing so legally.

It's like throwing up your hands when confronted by high rates of teen pregnancy, drug use, and sexually transmitted diseases. They might as well be educated about anal sex and bondage so they can do it safely!

All that does is enable pathological behaviors. People who abide by baseline ethical and moral standards feel like they were fucked in the ass while wearing a ball gag.

California is permanently lost to the G.O.P. Fifty-five electoral votes are forever in the Democratic column. That's one-fifth of the way to 270. The Electoral College awards votes based on a state's population. Not the number of American citizens. Population.

One way to think of that is that each five hundred thousand people in the United States equals roughly one Electoral College Vote. Two and a half million people equals five Electoral College votes.

Democrats have been stuffing blue states and big cities with illegal aliens for a generation. Sure, they want to flip red states to blue. But it doesn't matter when each illegal they pack in gets them closer to a permanent majority. Doesn't matter where they go.

It's the biggest voter fraud in electoral history. It's disenfranchisement on an unimaginable scale. And it was all done under our very noses.

#NotBuyingIt

Crybully feminists got the hashtag #NotBuyingIt trending during the Super Bowl yesterday. The most glaring example was NARAL's bloated tweet about the ultrasound Doritos ad.

It's telling that NARAL is stuffing an abortion tweet full of smarmy anti-sexist griping. "Sexist Tropes Of Dads As Clueless" is a Men's Rights Activism meme. It may be the first time NARAL has ever amplified a degrading male stereotype.

The whole point of the tweet is to vent outrage over people being reminded that ultrasound exists. The advent of ultrasound lets people decide all by themselves what, exactly, it that thing in there. People conclude, using their own judgement, that the thing is a human being.

That's why young people today are more pro-life than their parents. Millennials came of age during the ultrasound era. It makes convincing them of NARAL's party line - that the only real "choice" is abortion - much more difficult.

I pondered what to call this obvious hostility to unborn babies. Perhaps "Fetus Derangement Syndrome."

The Doritos ad was featured on the local morning news today. They called it "controversial" without mentioning why it was causing "controversy." Let's just agree that the ad won't be in contention for a Maggie Award.

Switching gears, I couldn't help but notice how many Super Bowl ads used recycled popular music to pimp their wares. Seal went Full Seal for a remake of his one decent song Kiss From A Rose, for the NFL. A graphic on the screen remarked that "Data suggests 9 months after a Super Bowl victory winning cities see a rise in births." Radfems are going to hate on that one, suggesting that men go on a raping spree or something. I read once that seeing your team win increases testosterone levels in men, so the data will be replicated across Bronco nation.

Another cheap ripoff was GoPro using Blitzkrieg Bop to pimp out their cameras. That was a regional ad, intended to appeal to their ultra-slender target audience. Their stock price apparently has an ultra-thin target chump as well.

Honda also indolently used some intern's Spotify playlist to move the iron. They used Queen's eternal song, Somebody To Love, to tell a 30-second story of a sheep farmer. I don't think their target audience is sheep farmers. Who identifies with sheep farmers?

Women perhaps, who might fantasize about an uncomplicated bachelor pining away, just for her. I don't see too many women buying pickup trucks, though. A man wouldn't have any use for a truck with a three-foot bed. Young people, perhaps? Probably, since the truck bed audio seems to be aimed at them.

Ah, young people, who haven't yet realized that they are the sheep.

The Right To Be An Entitled Cunt Shall Not Be Infringed

The Centers for Disease Control have advised women who drink to take contraception. The risk of fetal abnormalities is too great. It seems pretty simple. Sexually active women may not know that they are pregnant, so they should avoid alcohol. The butthurt from radical feminists shows that they don't appreciate being reminded that all rights require a certain level of personal responsibility.

From everyjoe, Darlena Cunha of Time said that the recommendation "discriminates against women." This echoes the bitchy feminist cliche that only women are expected to superintend contraception.

Not a cliche if you consider that only women can get pregnant.

Claire Warner of Bustle chimed in, writing, "What about suggesting men get a vasectomy instead of expecting women to go on the pill, which may be restricted in her area."

Speaking of cliches, a classic feminist trope is their obsession with male castration and emasculation. A man getting a vasectomy only controls his fertility, not hers.

What kind of woman wants a man who would voluntarily destroy his reproductive capacity? What kind of man would do that? The kind of man who would surrender his testicles.

What areas of the United States have restrictions on birth control pills, Claire? Any girl or woman can go to a health clinic and get a prescription for the pill and walk out of a Walmart with her medication. For about eight dollars. Not many restrictions on the pill in America.

America Does Not Like White People Very Much

One game I try to avoid playing is pointing out double standards. One could spend all day complaining, "what if a Republican had said this," or, "what if a white person had said this?" A classic example that comes to mind is Harry Reid "complimenting" Barack Obama by saying that Obama "had no Negro dialect unless he wanted one."

I have accepted that this double standard is part of the price of being anti-cultural marxist. Pointing it out is hackneyed and trite, low-hanging fruit.

Nevertheless, the double standard was apparent in ESPN's Bomani Jones' recent comment about Carolina QB Cam Newton. Jones pushed back on criticism about Newton's on-field celebrations. Jones concluded that America, "does not like black people very much."

I respect Cam Newton's ability, but I do not like his on-field act. Near the end of the NFC Championship game, while Carolina's defense was on the field, Newton crossed the sideline into the field of play to celebrate. That is called "showing up" your opponent, and it used to be contravened by the unwritten rules of the sport. I doubt that is still true, but it's still something that I adhere to.

You don't stand at home plate and admire your home run. You put your head down and circle the bases. That respect for the other players is what we used to call "good sportsmanship." Nowadays athletes gyrate and prance and fist pump after making even routine plays. A good reason why my interest in sports declines every year.

Did Bomani Jones benefit from the double standard? I believe so, because there are traces of projection as well as self-pity in his statement. Bomani Jones doesn't like white people very much, and his comment is a way for him to deal with this uncomfortable feeling, and a less impolitic way at that.

I imagined what would have happened if a white newscaster or sports analyst came to the conclusion that America "doesn't like white people very much." That person would have suffered consequences, not been celebrated as "speaking truth to power." On the surface, it seems like a ridiculous statement, but under the surface, there are elements of truth.

There was a study recently by economists Angus Deaton and Anne Case that showed that over the last fifteen years, mortality for middle class whites has been increasing. Mortality for all other groups is flat or decreasing.

Fareed Zakaria believes the reason is that whites are fearful that they are losing, and that is why whites are supporting Donald Trump, because he will "make them win again." Zakaria continues, "but he can’t. No one can. And deep down, they know it."

The tone of satisfaction in Zakaria's comments was self-evident.

Could one infer from rising white mortality rates then, that America doesn't like white people very much? Consider the breathless anticipation of essays that are counting down the days until America is a white minority country. The sense of white guilt is so internalized that many white people are happy about this. Pride is a feeling that is encouraged of all ethnic groups except white people.

Justice For University At Albany #JusticeForUA

When all you have is racial victimhood, that's the card you play. I'm surprised media outlets aren't more skeptical when they see stories like this.

Blavity, which is presumably a black racial grievance clearinghouse, ran the banner headline, 3 BLACK FEMALE STUDENTS AT SUNY ALBANY ATTACKED BY WHITE STUDENTS ON BUS

A less alarming headline appears at the Albany Times Union, titled UAlbany students allege racially motivated assault on CDTA bus.

The narrative would have you believe that three black women were riding a city bus, minding their own business, when a group of ten to twelve white people started harassing and attacking them.

This incident was reported to Albany police at 1:20 Saturday morning. Might there have been alcohol involved? Even one of the "victims," Asha Burwell (@ashaburwell) wrote on Instagram that the police were skeptical because they "smelled like weed."

Two of the "victims" were treated at Albany Medical Center for "minor scrapes on their faces." Asha Burwell insists that she was "jumped." I won't link her tweets because her account will probably be locked or deactivated today, or her tweets deleted.

My skepticism rose to an even higher lever when supern***** Deray Mckesson tweeted his support. "Let's Get Free," he tweeted.

The video feed from the bus will reveal whether these accounts contain any truth. What I believe is that these women got into a fight, either with an outside group of people, or between themselves. I don't believe that the attack was unprovoked. It's possible that once the fight was joined, people shouted racial epithets.

God help anyone involved if they are white, because America will stand by while their lives are destroyed. They will be expelled from school and polite society. If they are white, they should have meekly accepted a beat-down from the three black women.

There will the obligatory protest today at the campus. The protest will probably be used to present a list of non-negotiable demands to University President Robert J. Jones. He published a tepid statement that read, in part, "Now is the time to recommit to our principles of inclusivity and diversity and send a strong message that we will not tolerate bias, hatred and violence in our University."

Not nearly enough. The message could be written in Black Liberation Theology boilerplate, and it still wouldn't be enough.

Because inclusivity.
