Butthurt Feminists

Butthurt feminists are always venting their rage over twitter. Today's example is the heteronormative patriarchal demands of men who view women and their reproductive systems as male property.

One small problem, though. The person doing the warning is a woman. Oh well, it's probably unconscious bias or some bullshit. It probably has nothing to do with biology or fertility.

The NHS is the National Health Service, the main provider of medical services in the United Kingdom. Professor Geeta Nargund wrote a letter to the Education Secretary, in which she insists on educating teenagers about the risk of delaying pregnancy. A woman's fertility declines rapidly after age thirty.

Professor Nargund wrote, "I have witnessed all too often the shock and agony on the faces of women who realise they have left it too late to start a family." That shock turns to anger pretty quickly when the woman realizes what a bill of goods she was sold by radical feminists.

"Wait until your career is established," the doctrinaire feminist preaches. "You can have it all - men, sex without attachment, career, babies later," women are told, and they believe that they are entitled to everything. There is never any attempt to educate them about opportunity cost. Every minute they spend trying to make partner at their law firm is another minute, gone forever, that will not be spent courting, dating, and procreating.

Professor Nargund is keeping an eye on costs. A nationalized health care system will have to ration care. When Obamacare becomes fully implemented in the United States, there will be rationing of care to the chronically sick, and constant harping by the government to lose weight and quit smoking. Old people in the U.K. who go to the hospital for pneumonia are more likely to die than to recover. Good enough for government work.

So have your babies in your twenties, women. Otherwise the government will have to pay for your very expensive IVF treatments. And if you do somehow manage to get pregnant after thirty-five, your baby has a much higher risk of birth defects.

Or don't have babies. Let the legion of foreigners have all the babies. Oh wait, they already do. The most popular name for baby boys in the U.K. is Mohammed.
